Exhibit Title: "LOCAL F(L)ARE"

Bio – Jeff Davis
After 40 years in engineering and an interest in photography, Jeff started shooting with passion in 2013. A majority of his photos are shot in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Areas of interest include landscape, wildlife, the sun (rising/setting) and old stuff. However, if something looks interesting and his camera is near it usually gets captured. Early mornings take him and his gray van on the usual route east of Prescott with the hope of capturing the sunrise. 5:30 AM is early but there is nothing like it. Jeff’s daughter, Emily (#fivebyfive – Instagram), creates extraordinary pottery, which he is fortunate enough to shoot. Some of those photos have been published both in a regional and national magazine.

Jeff shares these comments:

“I don’t live in an area with mountains or crashing ocean waves. However, when posting photos on line, people express often, “what a great place to live.” Indeed.”

“My wife likes to travel and I’m OK with it as long as I can take my camera. Most days are good days with a camera in hand.”

“I’ve shot plenty of poor quality photos to get to where I am today.”

“My barber lets me hang a new photo on the wall of his shop each time I get a cut. So far, I haven’t received a free cut but I’m still working on it. Hope you enjoy the show.”
