The Phipps Center for the Arts – Figuring Drawing Coop
Join fellow artists on Sunday afternoons this fall for figure drawing at The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson. All models are professional. Twice a month: January 12 & 26, February 9 & 23, March 8 & 22, 2020. Bi-monthly sessions are 1-3pm and cost $10. Additional information & registration.

Washington County 4-H – Creative Arts Committee
The Washington County 4-H program is looking for volunteers to serve on the Creative Arts committee and teachers for their Creative Arts Day at the Washington County Fairgrounds on February 16. Possible art projects include: macrame, wood burning, painting a mini-mandela on a rock or another medium (acrylic or enamel), anime/cartooning/drawing, dream catcher or a weaving project, polymer clay. Projects need to fit into available time slots. Additional information

HeART of Eagan – Artist Application
The city of Eagan announces a new public art program, HeART of Eagan, to create a sense of place and engagement on the Art Block, in the heart of Eagan, and centered at the City Hall Campus property. In 2020, four new artworks will be placed in and around the municipal campus. All artworks will be installed on either concrete or stone pedestals.
Each selected artist will receive a stipend of $1,000 for display of their artwork for one year (September 2020 – September 2021), with a possible one-year extension for an additional $500 stipend.

Art on the Kinni – Artist Application
On September 12, 2020, CAB will present the 24th Annual Art on the Kinni. This lovely fair is always held on the first Saturday after Labor Day along the banks of the Kinnickinnic River in the downtown River Falls area. If you are an artist and would like to participate please fill out the application provided.

Pine Needles Residency – Artist Application
The Artist at Pine Needles residency program invites natural history artists or writers to spend 2 to 4 weeks to immerse themselves in a field experience, gather resource materials, and interact with environmental scientists and the local community.
Applications will be accepted from writers and visual artists who focus on environmental or natural history topics. Participants will have an opportunity to interact with environmental scientists and to create links between their art, the natural world, and the sciences. Apply Online.

Arcola Mills Historic Foundation – Artist Work Space
Arcola Mills Historic Foundation is pleased to invite Twin Cities and St. Croix Valley-based artists to create in a space that is tranquil, restorative and inspiring. Arcola’s Greek Revival-era mansion has an open, spacious main level, eight studio rooms and a walk-in basement. There is plenty of natural light throughout the house, as well as windows for looking out on the wild and scenic St. Croix River Valley in every room. Evolve Family Services – Exhibiting Artists
We are a non-profit adoption agency located in Oak Park Heights right by the bowling alley. We are looking for artists who would be interested in displaying some of their art pieces in our office. Art Trolley Adventures – Call for Artists
Wahoo! Adventures is seeking fun loving artists for a new St. Croix Valley trolley tour call “Art Trolley Adventures.” Our goal is to continue to grow the Valley as a “go to” art inspired destination by making it hassle-free, fun and unique. Stillwater Veterans Memorial – Call for Volunteers
The Stillwater Veterans Memorial is looking for volunteers with fine motor skills and an attention to detail in repainting pavers. A training session would be provided along with all necessary artist supplies, paints, sitting and kneeling pads, etc. This is work that can be done at the volunteer’s convenience. The volunteers will be publicly recognized for their contribution to the honoring of veterans at the Memorial. Prospective volunteers can call John Kraemer at 651-439-4350.

The Power of the St. Croix Utility Box Mural Project – Call for Artists
Winner of the 2018 Great Idea Competition Grant from the Stillwater Area Foundation, The Power of the St. Croix Utility Box Project is seeking artists to beautiful utility boxes in Stillwater and Marine on St.Croix. Proposals for two-dimensional murals that relate to the beauty and/or history of the St. Croix River are encouraged. Painting or photography that is realistic or abstract will be considered, and there is $500 available for artists to complete each box. Additional information Deadline: March 31, 2019 for Spring 2019 installation
